Monumental Pucci – an artistic installation designed to tie in with Firenze Hometown of Fashion during the Pitti Immagine Uomo-86 event, focusing on the Baptistry of San Giovanni. From 17 to 20 June 2014. Eight printed cloth sheets covered 2,000 square metres to clad the building in the Florence fashion house's iconic design. The idea was inspired by the Baptistry scarf designed in 1957 by Marchese Emilio Pucci, dipicting a bird's eye view of Piazza San Giovanni in the colours of the Mediterranean landscape – lemon yellow, orange, fuchsia and the emblematic Emilio pink.

The restoration was entrusted by the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore, in conjunction with Officine Panerai, to two leading experts in the field, Professors Andrea Palmieri and Ugo Pancani from the Centro Studi per il Restauro di Orologi at the I.S.I.S. Leonardo da Vinci in Florence. May 2014.
